Samba lyrics

UM BATUQUE AFRICANO ME CHAMOU
A PINTURA FEZ DA TELA, SEU LUGAR
OS PRAZERES VÃO SE REFLETIR
NAS HISTÓRIAS QUE EU VOU CONTAR
SAI O TREM DA ESTAÇÃO, PRA TRILHAR ESTA CANÇÃO
MOJU, MAGÉ, MOJÚBÀ!
LUZ DOS OLHOS DE OLODUMARÉ EM CADA AMANHECER
TOCA O ATABAQUE, ONDE A ÁFRICA APORTOU
CLAMANDO POR PIEDADE
TOCA O ATABAQUE, ONDE A LÁGRIMA APORTOU
MARIA CONGA ERGUEU A LIBERDADE

BENTA ÁGUA, RITOS TÃO DIVINOS.

SENTIMENTOS CRISTALINOS

PUREZA A PÉ, PROCISSÃO…

SE A FESTA É DE PEDRO NÃO DEMORA

NOSSA FÉ, SENHORA, DESTA ORAÇÃO!

A TRIBO QUE CHEGOU AQUI PRIMEIRO

DEU O NOME FEITICEIRO ÀS ENTRANHAS DESSE CHÃO

AUÊ, AUÊ NA RIQUEZA DA PINGUEIRA

PRA ESCORRER A DOÇURA BRASILEIRA

CAMINHO DO NOBRE METAL
PAVIO DE FOGO E FÉ
DA LUTA CONTRA O MARECHAL
AOS DRIBLES NA VIDA, MANÉ
FOLIA DE TODOS OS REIS
E O SAMBA DESABROCHANDO EM FLOR, NAS CORES DO PINTOR

QUEREM PEMBA, QUEREM GUIA,
QUEREM FIGA DE GUINÉ
AXÉ, MAGÉ
SINFONIA DE TAMBORES,
HOJE A GIRA VAI GIRAR
Ê MOJÚBÀ, Ê MOJÚBÀ

Abstract
The parade will be a tribute to the 452 years of Magé, the second oldest city in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The Samba School will hail its cultural and historical aspects, because the region had great importance in the time of the mining for being part of the "Golden Route" between Minas Gerais and Rio. The district is rich in its socio-cultural relevance and Inocentes intends to count a part of the History of Brazil that is confused with a part of its History. Thus, the mission of the school is to take to the world the curiosities of the city and to show on the Avenue how our country is abundant of culture and historical legacy.

Inocentes de Belford Roxo's history

The Grêmio Recreativo Escola de Samba Inocentes de Belford Roxo is a samba school in Belford Roxo that participates in the Carioca Carnival. It was founded on July 11, 1993, and is based in the Parque São Vicente neighborhood, in the same district.

The School's first parade was in 1994 with the theme "Alô alô carnival, here's Carmem Miranda". Its first championship came by Access Group C in 1998. The following year, Inocentes was the runner-up of Access Group B, with the theme "Viva a Baixada, long steps of progress towards the Third Millennium". In 2001, after having financial difficulties and lowering the classification, it c3hanged its name and municipality, becoming Inocentes da Baixada and headquartered in São João de Meriti. Returning in 2005, to the current name and city. Reaching the championship of Group 3 with the theme "Ewe, The cure comes from the forest", by Jorge Caribé and thus ensuring the ascent to Group 2.
For the carnival of 2012, the school repatriated the carnival Wagner Gonçalves, who brought a plot about the city of Corumbá. In addition, the school also brought Thiago Brito, who was in the Caprichosos de Pilares, to be his new interpreter and as Drummers' Queen Luciana Picorelli. The school made a correct parade, without getting excited, with focus on winning the carnival; which it did causing some controversy for being named champion three months before the carnival.

For 2013, in its debut in the Main Group, the school renewed with the carnival Wagner Gonçalves and brought one of the best couples of master-room and banner-bearer of the carnival: Rogerinho and Lucinha Nobre. The school also had the reinforcements of the experienced Wantuir, dividing the function of interpreter with Thiago Brito and of Master Celinho, that commanded the drums' section along with Master Washigton. With the lead Lucilene Caetano in its debut year in the main division of the samba schools, the school was not successful in maintaining the main group, being demoted, having in 2014 again to compete in the Preliminary group of the Rio Carnival. The school was in the last place among the participants of 2013, with the average of 291.1 points, 2.4 points behind the penultimate placed Mocidade Independente.

Returning to the preliminary group, the school kept the backbone of when it was in the Special, only changing of interpreter and escort couple and flag-bearer, that after the descent, left the school, opting for David Sabiá and Fernanda Love like new pair and for interpreter, the school had opted initially, by David of the Pandeiro and now, having like interpreter: Ciganerey. besides Laíla, as his carnival consultant. In the samba contest, following the registration of dozens of partnerships, there was an unexpected merger of Altamiro's partnerships with Abílio Mestre-Sala. made a technical parade, but to be in the top positions. However, due to the former LESGA, Inocentes finished in 10th place. After the carnival, Reginaldo Gomes left the command of the group, assuming his son Rodrigo Gomes who returned to school the escort couple and flag-bearer Douglas Valle and Priscilla Costa; Marcelo Varanda as carnival-harmony director; the performer Nino do Milênio, and choreographer Vivian Borges.
